David Nguyen

My name is David Nguyen. I’m an Asian-American Chaplain and ordained Christian minister, currently serving as a chaplain in a large Level 1 Trauma Center in Florida. I am passionate about learning your story and coming alongside those challenging moments with you to provide holistic, compassionate spiritual care. I also have a background in Marriage, Individual and Family Therapy and use evidenced-based practices (CBT, EFT, and Family Systems) to guide our time together if necessary.

I completed four units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) and hold a Master of Arts in Counseling from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Aside from chaplaincy, I serve on staff as the English Ministry Pastor at a local Vietnamese church and enjoy spending weekends with youth, college students, and young professionals, encouraging the next generation to become resilient, faith-based leaders.
