With over 17 years dedicated to ministry and a decade of hands-on experience as a practicing chaplain in a Level One trauma center in Tampa, Florida, Sam Williams is a seasoned guide in the landscape of loss and healing. His extensive training includes four units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE), completing graduate degree requirements to secure a Master of Divinity, and practical hands-on crisis support, a testament to his commitment to providing expert spiritual and emotional support. Sam Williams is Board Certified through APC, is a candidate for a Doctorate of Behavioral Health, and is completing his Certified Clinical Trauma Professional certification.

As the Bereavement Committee Chair at the hospital, Sam played a pivotal role in shaping grief support frameworks and was a trusted overnight staff member, traveling extensively to meet the urgent needs of those in crisis. Throughout his career, Sam has accumulated a wealth of resources and insights, which inspired him to establish Connecting Humans Mobile Chaplaincy (CHMC) in 2023. His vision: to forge connections across all walks of life and bring solace to those grappling with the profound impact of grief.
